The Fedorian Dare

Ok, when I first installed http://www.linux-noob.com/screenshots/fedora/1/post/index.html, I got "all crazy" and installed KDE, XFCE and GNOME all at once!

It was quite an experience. I had a pentium 4 (1st gen) with 1 GB of RAM (133 MHz or something) and a 80 GB HDD. It was really cool to have all kinds of apps back then.

I kind of got frustrated because I had 10 apps for the same thing and, eventually, I learned about how using KDE and GNOME libraries would use much more RAM.

There was a good side ot it. The integration was pretty cool even back then! Imagine today's landscape; where GNOME and KDE devs meet together to plan for the future and integrate our ENVs, LXE is here, XFCE has come a long way, and we have a ton of minimal X environs. I think even E17 is on the repos!

Now, I have to say, I am a 100% GNOME fanboy. That said, I am using KDE on my laptop and will start using a variety of desktop environments right now!

Why not? Integration should be awesome. Every DE has great tools. Different environments should fit different use cases.

So, right here, right now, I dare You, Community Member, to:

Install all desktop environments!

Yep, I will do so right after posting this. Let me know how it goes and report all bugs found!
